Help Make the Gulch Even Better

Date: Tuesday, March 6, 2012
Time: 6:30 PM
Place: Holladay Park Plaza - Meeting Room off the main lobby

Lauren Golden Jones, one of our committee members, has requested time for a presentation to be made by she and representatives from her company regarding the potential redevelopment of the Albina Oil Site located at 33rd Avenue and Broadway. Lauren and her team will have maps and other visual tools for our use. The Land Use and Transportation Committee has been asked to listen to the development concepts and to make constructive preliminary comments regarding the proposed development.

This is an exciting opportunity for the Sullivan's Gulch Land Use and Transportation Committee to participate in a development project of this size. As we contemplate the future of the south side of Broadway between 15th and 33rd Avenues, this proposed project has long term impact on that planning and development strategy.

Lauren's team will also be making a presentation to the full Sullivan's Gulch Board, therefore, this is an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed development prior to full board review. Watch for the agenda of the regular SGNA Board meetings (2nd Tuesday of each month) for more details.

Members of the committee attended the NE Broadway Business Association meeting recently which was held Monday, February 13th and inlcuded adjacent neighbors (Eliot, Irvington, Rose Quarter, and Sullivan's Gulch interests were represented), We will update you on this meeting as well.

You are welcome to attend and participate in this discussion. We look forward to seeing you there.
